Easy Digital Downloads Message adds to the customer page in the EDD control panel a new view where customized messages can be created and sent directly to the customer.
Messages sent to customers and vendors from the control panel can also include attachments, so you can send files to your customers quickly and easily.
Easy Digital Downloads Message keeps a record of all messages that have been sent to your control in the future. Messages sent to a specific client are visible in the message view for that client, and a table of all messages logged in Reports > Records.
For users of Easy Digital Downloads Frontend SubmissionsThis add-on is even more useful. Easy Digital Downloads Message has been developed to seamlessly integrate with Frontend Submissions, so that marketplace administrators can not only better communicate with sellers, but also give sellers the ability to communicate with their own customers.
Easy Digital Downloads Message includes options to select which types of messages will be logged. By checking these options, a log of the selected message types will be saved. The message types included are:
- Messages from the administrator to customers or vendors
- Purchase receipts
- Messages from vendors to their customers (requires Frontend Submissions add-on)
- Messages from customers to vendors (requires Frontend Submissions add-on)
