GiveWP Manual Donations

GiveWP Manual Donations allows you to create GiveWP donations directly in your WordPress dashboard. Donations can be assigned to a specific donor or you can easily create a new donor during the donation creation process.

There is no charge to the donor when the donation is created, but it is intended to help you keep your records up to date if, for example, you receive a donation by another means.

Manually create donation transactions

Creating GiveWP donations manually is as easy as filling out a simple form and clicking "Submit". With GiveWP Manual Donations you just have to fill in the donation and donor data. You can assign the donation to any existing donor or create a new one. You can also select any gateway, whether it is active for live donations or not. You can choose the date of the donation (past or future).

GiveWP Manual Donations also allows you to choose whether or not to send notifications of the completed donation to the donor and/or the administrator.

Note: The add-on GiveWP Manual Donations does not make any actual charge to the donor, it is intended for record keeping within GiveWP for donations received by other means.

Support for recurring donations

When creating a donation on a form that supports recurring donations you will see the recurring options that donors have. This will create the "parent" recurring donation (i.e. the first donation of a new subscription).

Works with reports and records

Just like the donations you receive through GiveWP's public forms, manual donations created with GiveWP Manual Donations are correctly reflected in reports, transactions and records.

The add-on GiveWP Manual Donations requires the free GiveWP plugin to work.
